The energy boost and clear headedness may arrive fast for some but growing this conduit of greatness is another matter.

Meet the Korean Ginseng - the original, not to be confused with the less effective American ginseng, Siberian ginseng nor “Korean” roots transplanted elsewhere in the world.

A precious little bastard of a herb, it takes couple years just for the seeds to germinate and another six years to mature. It’s also a complicated personality, at once used by some as a relaxant as well as a stimulant. In Asian cultures old and contemporary, this juxtaposition is thereby believed to improve both physical and mental stamina. No surprise then that this yin yang wonder root has captured and replenished the hearts, minds and muscles of thinkers and warlords for over 4,000 years.

Right now, the Lims of Boseong are literally reaping the rewards of their patience and hardwork. It’s ginseng harvest season. Whilst commonly used in a powdered form, we were fortunate enough to have the Lims custom cut this for us in 5mm pieces, ideal for use as a tisane.

So while it’s fresh, get on it. Read about ginseng's ability to support immunity, increase endurance and improve mental focus. Power up with panax ginseng.
