Perhaps the sweetest TGFOP offering we have had to date, this season’s ample rainfall and sunshine caused the organic gardens of Chardwar to flourish. This local Assamica varietal in particular is intriguing in that there is a detectable presence of a high note akin to the classic Yunnan Red. For those after a familiar Assam flavour and a little more, they will be pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem.
Dry leaves: Dark brown with tinges of gold, medium length, twisted.
Taste: chocolaty, sweet malt, fruit buns
