Why we chose this: ideal for sweet n sour dishes and a milder alternative for household white vinegar.

Rice vinegar is different to rice wine in that it undergoes a second fermentation, giving it acidity. The result is a combination of sweet and sour. This clear rice vinegar is milder than black rice vinegar and perhaps milder still than the average distilled white vinegar. So due to its gentler and more balanced profile, aside from traditional Asian sweet and sour dishes, it’s great in salads and even cocktails.

Uses: Sweet and sour Asian dishes (Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean) from the classic sweet and sour pork to Filipino adobo. Can be used even for sushi rice. Use it in salad dressings, potato fries, marinades or even cocktails - wherever a little tartness will spark the tastebuds.
