Why we chose this: plump little mushrooms, prepped and ready.

They’re not just a filler for casseroles and claypots, they add wonderful texture and carry sauces superbly. Some like to bring out the champignons flavour more by lightly pan frying them first.

Taste: Plump, juicy, mild mushroom taste.

Uses: Casseroles, pasta bakes. Great in claypot recipes like chicken + mushroom pot rice (combine with shiitake), mixed tofu and vegetable one-pots.

Preparation: Simply drain and rinse. Use whole or half them and add it to your bakes. Can be sliced and pan fried to bring out natural flavour.
